Training
Training and awareness-raising activities for the network’s target groups (producers, consumers, etc.), as well as for existing and prospective executives, enabling them to acquire the skills required at both technical and operational levels.
The Cluster’s training activities are developed around two main thematic pillars:
A. The first pillar focuses on familiarising participating organisations with the concept and operation of clusters, raising awareness of best practices, and promoting cooperation through corresponding European and international initiatives in areas such as cluster development, innovation hubs, competitiveness and entrepreneurship, regional development policies, and smart specialisation strategies.
B. The second pillar focuses on the sustainable utilisation of Greek biodiversity and plant genetic resources, the legislation governing them, their potential for commercial exploitation, the certification/authentication of the products produced, as well as corporate social and environmental responsibility practices, product identity development, and innovative methods for the production of innovative natural products.
Through visits in Greece and abroad, AgriDiverCluster also seeks to develop knowledge exchange and training activities for its members. Particular emphasis is placed on gaining insight into successful international clusters and exchanging experiences with their representatives through seminars and informational events. At the same time, participation in specialised trade fairs and exhibitions contributes to a better understanding of market developments, value chain analysis, and the strengthening of members’ outreach and networking activities.
